The Vase Of Summer. 

This project began as an internal challenge, relating an original idea to available capabilities. We entered the field of "design thinking" solving multidimensional and complex problems, the "wicked problem". Many hours were dedicated to research, development, testing, and more testing. A search for solutions to problems with parallels in the first law of thermodynamics was the work carried out and materialized in this creation.

A unique form that combines unexpected elements such as wood, terracotta, and leather. The geometric shape is developed in an "abstract geometric" interpretation that gives it singularity.

The level of complexity increased when a new approach was introduced into the process, in which all elements would be sustainable and environmentally friendly. This resulted in the application of low-VOC (volatile organic compound) paints, water-based adhesives, and organic coating solutions.

Engineering solutions have been incorporated into various elements, providing structural robustness and high durability.

All raw materials, components and subcomponents used are of high quality.
The use of Teak wood, grown in Brazil under a controlled process with FSC® certification, where the seeds originate from Myanmar.
The use of dense terracotta, guaranteeing rigidity and mechanical resistance. Molded by a master ceramist, preserving the small deformations inherent in the artisanal process.

As a final element, leather with the unique characteristic of having been hand-tanned by an Italian artisans.
