Jean Prouvé, a French designer and builder born in 1901, is described as a creative visionary, author of the manifesto "We like logic, balance and purity". His remarkable ability to fuse architecture and engineering demonstrates his determination and dedication as a creator.

In this trajectory Prouvé applied the transfer of manufacturing technology from the industry in to architectural aesthetics. His design skills were vast and multidisciplinary, enabling him to produce unique pieces.

Some honorable mentions:
  • Cité Armchair, 1930;
  • Disassembled House, 1941;
  • Métropole Chair, 1950;
  • Compass Table, 1953.

In 2022, Pouvé's two Trapeze tables were sold at auction for 3,844,000 euros, a remarkable piece by a remarkable creator.

Jean Prouvé career was dedicated to architectural design, industrial design, structural design and furniture design. This unique school of thought was, is, and it certainly will be, a great inspiration in this industry as much as it is for "ARTH.E".

Thank you Jean Prouvé.
